An Unforgettable Day with Arnaud Jerald

Passionate about freediving and meaningful connections, mark February 15, 2020, in your calendars! This freediving workshop offers a unique opportunity to experience an exceptional day alongside Arnaud Jerald, world record holder in constant weight bi-fins (-108 m) and third place finisher at the recent World Championships in September in Villefranche-sur-Mer with a dive of -115 meters in monofin.

If he only began competing in 2017, the 23-year-old from Marseille has experienced a meteoric rise. While he remains grounded, he spends most of his time underwater. “When I started freediving, I no longer had the gaze of others upon me, and I found myself face-to-face with myself,” he explains. “A lot goes through my mind when I dive. I think about my family, my friends, but always with a guiding thread. At around 50 or 60 meters, that’s when you need to be strong, to push beyond with your guts and your heart.”

Arnaud Jerald and Adventure Pro agency are organizing this freediving workshop in the serene setting of the Conflans-Sainte-Honorine aquatic center (just 25 minutes from Paris) with its beautiful privatized 20-meter deep pool. It’s an ideal location to discover this exceptional champion, both talented and kind. Theory, practice, debriefing: the day will be focused on enjoyment, exchange, and learning. This workshop is open to everyone, regardless of skill level!
