Choice of Spearfishing Board/Buoy

The use of signaling equipment is MANDATORY! Every spearfisher must have their own buoy. At the end of their spearfishing board or buoy, there must be a flag to ensure visibility for surrounding boats.

Sometimes, spearfishers may find the line connecting them to their board or buoy cumbersome. Therefore, a beginner can equip themselves with a weight that acts as an anchor, allowing them to navigate within the perimeter of their buoy and move freely.

The spearfishing board has the advantage of being able to hold equipment, preventing it from floating in the water, as they are equipped with attachments and pockets. From a safety perspective, the spearfishing board allows users to rest on it in case of fatigue or cramps, for example.

On the other hand, the signaling buoy is advantageous for its visibility to boats. Equipment can also be attached to it, such as nets, waterproof containers, or fish holders.
