Got out last week with Cat , Andy, Stoner and Albie. the conditions were perfect but the fish were not to be found. Since grouper is closed, they were everywhere. We did not see any wahoo or big kings either. We did drifts in the deep water to see if the triggerfish were out yet but they were not in any numbers, we got a few but they were small.
We dove inside hawks channel for awhile and it was barren. A couple little hogs and tons of red grouper which we could not shoot. Cat didn’t take a lot of photos probably due to us not getting anything that interesting. She did get s couple cool photos of the trigger fish.
Overall it was a nice day on the water but kind of bust.
